How often does your board meet?

Do you review multi site studies?
Yes, we review multi site submissions.
Do you review submissions from the United States?
Yes, we have many satisfied U.S. clients.
How soon can I expect to receive a response following the submission review?
You can expect to receive a response within 2 – 3 business days. We are known for our quick turn around.
Do you conduct rapid reviews?
Yes, we will gladly accomodate requests for a rapid review. Call our Head Office for the current rapid review fee schedule.
What are your normal business hours?
Normal business hours are 9 am – 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday. Email
correspondence is preferred with extended service hours available.
Do you accept electronic submissions?
Yes, this is the preferred method of submission.
What bilingual services do you provide?
We are pleased to offer certified French translations prepared by an experienced translator.
What is the history of the board?
The board was established in 1996.
Who makes up the board?
We have physicians, lawyers, pharmacists, an ethicist and lay members
who have served on the board for many years. The Administrative
Director and all board members have completed the Human Participant
Protections Education for Research course.
What type of studies do you review?
The board is open to review any research that has medical merit.
Do you work with sites across Canada?
Yes, we will accept submissions from any province and territory in Canada.
Do you provide references?
Yes, references are available upon request.
